Sand first
Conditions decide the route, not the schedule. If the crest is not safe today, we take the run that is.

Our Crew
Desert Drift started as four friends, two trucks and a camp fire. The camp fire is still there. The rest grew around the same rule: know the sand before you sell the trip.
We grew up in the Liwa villages, learning to read a dune by its shadow before we learned to read a map. When visitors kept asking to come along, the weekend habit turned into a workshop, a fleet, and a licence.
Every guide on the roster is desert-certified and first-aid trained, and every truck comes back through our own workshop after each run. We would rather cancel a departure than send out a vehicle we have not checked ourselves.
Conditions decide the route, not the schedule. If the crest is not safe today, we take the run that is.
A recovery truck trails every expedition. Getting stuck is part of the sand; staying stuck is not.
Four vehicles to a guide, maximum. You came for the desert, not for a queue of tail-lights.
What we carry in, we carry out. The dunes look the way they do because the people before you cared.
