The Shop
We opened in 2015 with two chairs and one idea: slow down, cut properly, and never let a man leave unsure of the back of his head.
Fade Theory started in a narrow unit off Anas Ibn Malik with two chairs, a secondhand back-bar, and a waiting list that outgrew the room by the second month. We never advertised the fade; the men in the seats did that for us.
Six chairs later, the idea has not moved: a proper cut takes the time it takes. We book so nobody waits standing, we hand every barber fresh blades, and we still turn the mirror so you see the work before you pay for it.
You see the back of your own head before you stand up. No surprises at the door.
New blade, sanitised guards, a fresh cape. Non-negotiable, every single chair.
We book in real intervals so your appointment starts when it says it does.
Two minutes of talking beats twenty of regret. We agree the shape before the clippers move.
Six barbers, each with a hand you can ask for by name when you book.
