01 The Studio
A studio that draws like it will have to build it.
Because, often enough, we do. Grayframe was founded on one rule, and twelve years later it still runs the place.
We started in 2013 as two engineers and a drawing board, tired of handsome renders that fell apart the moment a fabricator asked a real question. So we set a rule: nothing leaves the studio until someone has proven it builds — with a prototype, a calculation, or a phone call to the shop.
Today the studio spans product, industrial, and structural work, but the standard has not moved. Every project ends the same way: a clean, dimensioned, toleranced drawing set that a shop in Dubai, Riyadh, or Rotterdam can build without calling us to ask what we meant.
How we hold the line
One drawing standard
A junior tray and a stadium fin are drawn to the same rules, so nobody has to relearn how to read us.
Prototype before opinion
We build the doubtful part first. The cheapest place to fail is on a bench, not on a site.
Metric, always
One unit system across a project. Mixed units are how bridges meet in the middle at the wrong height.
