The firm
Qaws was founded on a plain idea: the engineer who stamps the drawing should be the one who understands the load. Fifteen years on, that has not changed.
We opened in 2009 with two structural engineers and a single licence, taking the projects larger firms found too awkward — the irregular plan, the retrofit, the span nobody wanted to stamp. We built the practice on being the office that reads the calculation, not just the software output.
Today Qaws is twenty-six engineers working across the Kingdom — structural, BIM, geotechnical and inspection — but the rule from the first day holds: nothing leaves the office until a named engineer has re-run the critical case and put their name on it.

Every critical member is checked independently by a second engineer before it is issued. No exceptions, no matter the deadline.
The analysis model tracks the construction sequence and real connections — not an idealised frame that only exists in the software.
Our design engineers visit their own projects during construction. The person who drew the connection watches it get welded.
Clients get the reasoning, not just the result — a one-page load story an architect or owner can actually follow.
