The studio
We got tired of Arabic being an afterthought.
Qomra started in 2016 with a stubborn belief: an Arabic app should not feel like an English one wearing a costume.
The three of us met building someone else’s app, watching a beautiful English interface get bulldozed into Arabic the week before launch. Text overflowed, the back button pointed forward, and a date picker counted the wrong way. It shipped anyway. It always shipped anyway.
So we left and built the studio we wished had done that job. The name is “Qomra” — the wheelhouse of a ship, the small room the whole vessel is steered from. Small room, careful hands, the entire product turning on the decisions made inside it.
Nine years later we are still small on purpose. One team, no handoffs between a design agency and a dev shop, no game of telephone across a language barrier. The people who draw the Arabic screen are the people who build it.

A real app in real hands teaches more than a perfect prototype. We launch small and sharpen in public.

Design and engineering sit at the same table. No blueprint gets thrown over a wall and misread.
