We opened in 2016 with one belief that has not moved since: hair you can keep at home is worth more than hair that only looks good for the photo at the door.
Silk Roots began as three chairs and a long waiting list at City Walk. Noor had spent years in fast salons where a colour was a slot on a clock, and she wanted the opposite — a room where the consult was the service, and the treatment simply followed it.
Nine stylists later, the room is still quiet on purpose. We book longer than we need to, we send you home with the products you will actually use, and we would rather talk you out of a colour than watch it damage hair we cannot get back.

The person who reads your hair is the person who cuts it. Nothing gets handed off half-way.
Honest maintenance
We tell you the real upkeep before you book, not after — including the weeks it will not look salon-fresh.
Quiet by design
Low light, low noise, no rush. An hour here is meant to feel like an hour off, not an errand.
