Our story
We build the calm tool we always wanted
Taskloom started as a shared board between five friends working from five cities. It grew into the async-first task tool we couldn’t find anywhere else.
In 2021 we were a scattered group of makers stitched together by too many chat threads. Nothing we tried felt calm: tools shouted for attention, buried the plan under notifications, and assumed everyone was online at 10 a.m. We wanted a board you could open once a day and instantly know where things stood.
So we built it for ourselves first. No venture pressure, no growth-hacks — just a board that respects focus and works across time zones. Today a fully remote team of nineteen keeps Taskloom running for forty thousand teams, and we still plan our own week on the very same board you’re about to try.
