One studio, one set of hands, from the first walk of the shore to the last joint of teak. We do not hand a project off.

Piers, boardwalks, majlis over water, and marine structures detailed to survive salt, tide, and sun without constant repair.
Piers · boardwalks · sea majlis
Courtyards, palm groves, and water channels that pull the temperature down and hold the coast’s ecology instead of paving over it.

Restoring coral houses and old boatyards, and reviving the stone, plaster, and rope trades by giving their makers new commissions.

We spend days on the site — tide lines, breeze direction, the angle of the low winter sun — before a single wall is placed.
The form follows the breeze and the shade. We model each scheme against the summer sun until the building cools itself.
We stay on site with the masons and carpenters. The detail on the drawing is agreed with the hand that will make it.
Tell us where the water is and which way the breeze comes from — the rest of the brief tends to follow.
