Light as material
Daylight is our first building material — measured, angled, and let in on purpose. A wall exists so a shadow can move across it.

Site before form
Every project begins on the ground, not on the page. We read the plot, the wind, and the light for weeks before a single line is drawn.

Practice
Drawn to the last line
We still draw by hand before we draw by machine. A section is an argument you can hold up to the light — it tells the truth about a building before it is built.
