A single-room gallery lit only from above. The walls carry nothing but art and shadow; the roof does all the architectural talking.

Board-marked concrete wrapped around a kept palm grove. Every window frames a trunk; the trees were on the plot long before we were.

An industrial shed turned studio complex. We kept the steel trusses and the scars, cut three light-wells, and added almost nothing else.

An office block designed around its own shade — a deep colonnade that keeps the glass cool and gives the street a covered walk it did not have.

A low house of rammed earth on the desert edge, its thick walls doing the cooling that machines usually do. Old technology, drawn precisely.
