The Firm
Meridian Counsel was founded in 2009 by partners who left larger firms for one reason: to give clients the person they hired, on every call, at every hour that mattered.
The firm keeps its bench deliberately narrow. Twelve partners, a handful of counsel, and no pyramid of juniors learning on a client’s deal. The work that leaves this office was done by the name on the engagement letter — not delegated three levels down.
From the DIFC we advise across the GCC and along the corridors that matter to it — London, Singapore, Mumbai. Clients come to Meridian when a transaction is too important, or too sensitive, to hand to a machine.
The partner you meet is the partner who does the work. There is no bait, and no switch.
We answer the business question first, then make it legally sound — not the other way around.
Common law, civil law and DIFC law under one roof, so a cross-border deal has one owner.
The best deals never make the press. Confidentiality is the default setting here.
