The Farm
Three generations, one oasis, the same palms.
Tamr Valley is not a brand that found a farm. It is a farm that, half a century on, decided to put its name on a box.
In 1974 Ibrahim Al-Mulla planted his first hundred offshoots on the edge of the Al-Oyoun springs, where the water of Al-Ahsa has fed palms for four thousand years. He grew for the wholesale market, anonymous, one truck at a time — good dates that left the oasis wearing someone else’s label.
His grandchildren run it now, and the palms are the same palms — some of the original hundred still fruit. What changed is the promise on the box: this date was grown here, cured here, and graded by a hand that answers for it. Everything else — the slow pollination, the waiting, the sorting by eye — is exactly as it was.

What the oasis taught us
Water is the wealth
We irrigate from the ancient springs on the palm’s own clock, not a fixed schedule. The date tastes of the water that made it.
The soil is a partner
We feed the ground with the palm’s own trimmings and compost, never chemicals. Fifty years in, it is richer than we found it.
Patience is a method
We do not force ripeness. A variety is harvested on its day, even if that day costs us a week of waiting.
The hand stays
Climbing, pollinating, thinning, grading — the work that decides quality is still done by people who have done it for years.
