The firm began after a friend paid too much for the wrong house and asked, afterwards, why no one had simply been on his side. We built Dar Selection to be that person — a buy-side advisor who is paid to say no, and who has walked enough of Muscat to say it with reason.

We keep the list short on purpose. A larger book would mean showing houses we do not believe in, and the moment we do that we are an agency like any other. We would rather see you once a year with the right house than once a week with the available one.

Everything after the search — the survey, the price, the contractor who overpromises — is where money is quietly lost or kept. So we stay through it. The fee is the same whether we close in a month or walk away in six.
